My first experience of building web-sites was many years ago using FrontPage. As time went by I was using Dreamweaver more and more along with several decent CMS systems such as 123live, Wordpress and Joomla.

Indeed I still use Dreamweaver, 123live, Wordpress and Joomla and like them very much.

However, towards the middle of 2006 I needed a way to produce "single topic" (niche) web sites that were quick and easy to build and publish. Hunting around there are literally thousands of products that allow you to do this but the vast majority had one, or both, of two major flaws:-
